Welcome

Thank you for being here.

Whether this is your first class at The Feels, your first workshop, or you continue to study, train and retreat with us — we are grateful that you keep trusting us with your practice, your education, your travel, your yoga and your body.

We strive for inclusiveness and high-quality offerings that are available for all. Our goal is that you have a grounded, honest and profound experience with us at every step of the journey — from the first email or class booking to the last goodbye hug.

Because of past pandemics and the tightening cancellation policies of venues, retreat centres and hotels (we generally cannot recover their fees), we keep our own policy clear and firm. Please read it before you book.

Exceptions to this policy cannot be made for any reason, ever. For the sake of fairness and inclusion, this applies to everyone, including friends and family of the team.

By booking, purchasing or attending any offering from The Feels / Movement Medium Scandinavia AB, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms & Conditions and the Cancellation & Refund Policy below.

1. Definitions

  • We / us / our / The Feels — Movement Medium Scandinavia AB, including the physical studio The Feels in Hammarby Sjöstad and all Authentic Flow Tribe offerings.

  • You / participant / student / customer — the individual booking or attending an offering.

  • Offering — any of: drop-in class, class pass / clip card, membership, workshop, event, sound bath, private session, teacher training, retreat, online course or mentorship program, or merchandise.

  • Booking platform — the third-party system (Squarespace, Thinkific, Momoyoga / equivalent studio booking system, Stripe, etc.) through which the offering is sold.

2. Scope of these terms

These terms apply to all offerings operated under Movement Medium Scandinavia AB, including:

  1. Studio offerings at The Feels — drop-in classes, class passes / clip cards, memberships, workshops, sound baths, events, private sessions.

  2. Teacher trainings — in-person, online, or hybrid.

  3. Retreats — in Sweden, elsewhere in the EU, or outside the EU.

  4. Online programs — courses and mentorships delivered via Thinkific or equivalent.

  5. Merchandise.

Where a specific offering has additional terms (e.g. a retreat with a venue-specific packing list, or a training with a separate learning agreement), those additional terms apply in addition to, not instead of, these terms.

3. Booking and payment

  • All bookings are made through our official booking platforms or by written agreement with us.

  • Prices are shown in SEK or EUR depending on the platform, including Swedish VAT (moms) where applicable.

  • Payment is processed via Stripe or an equivalent provider. By paying, you accept the provider's terms in addition to ours.

  • Your booking is confirmed only once payment (or the required deposit) has been received and we have sent a written confirmation.

  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a booking where payment fails, information is incorrect, or capacity has been reached.

4. Your right of withdrawal (distance purchases — consumer law)

For purchases made online by a consumer, Swedish law (Distansavtalslagen / EU Consumer Rights Directive) may give you a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase.

Important exceptions that typically apply to our offerings:

  • Services fully performed before the 14-day period ends, provided you have explicitly consented to this and acknowledged that you lose the right of withdrawal once the service is delivered. By booking a class, workshop, event or session that starts within 14 days, you provide this consent.

  • Services for leisure activities booked for a specific date or period (e.g. a specific class, workshop, retreat or training date) are generally exempt from the 14-day right of withdrawal under Distansavtalslagen 2 kap. 11 § p. 12.

  • Digital content (recordings, downloads, online course modules) delivered immediately, where you have consented to immediate delivery and waived your right of withdrawal.

Where the 14-day right of withdrawal applies and you choose to use it, contact us in writing within 14 days of purchase. Any amounts paid will be refunded within 14 days of us receiving your notice, minus any portion of the service already used.

Outside these legal rights, the cancellation and refund rules below apply.

5. General cancellation and refund policy

All fees are non-refundable and non-transferable except where expressly stated in these terms or required by mandatory consumer law.

There is no cancellation or refund for any reason including but not limited to: natural disasters, acts of terrorism, pandemics, illness, health conditions, pregnancy, injury, medical or personal or family or work emergencies, bankruptcy, or change of mind. For the sake of fairness and inclusion, this applies to everyone including friends and family.

If you cannot reach the studio, a training or a retreat due to unforeseen circumstances of any reason — including but not limited to loss of job, travel bans, weather, strikes, or missed, delayed or cancelled flights — fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

If you arrive late, need to leave early, or miss training days (online or in person), miss homework, or otherwise do not complete the required attendance and coursework, you will not receive certification and you will not receive any refund for the missed portion.

We strongly recommend that you purchase travel cancellation insurance and health insurance covering sudden illness, injury and cancellation.

6. Studio classes at The Feels

6.1 Drop-in classes

  • Book online in advance through our booking platform. Walk-ins are accepted only if space is available.

  • Cancellation up to 12 hours before class start: the class is returned to your account as credit valid for 30 days, or refunded on request. Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 14 days.

  • Cancellation less than 12 hours before class start, or no-show: the class is forfeited. No refund, no credit.

  • If we cancel a class (see §6.5), you receive a full credit or a refund at your choice.

6.2 Class passes / clip cards

  • Class passes ("klippkort") are valid for the period stated at purchase (e.g. 10 classes valid for 3 months).

  • The validity period starts on the date of purchase, not on the date of first use, unless otherwise stated.

  • Class passes are non-refundable and non-transferable and cannot be shared between people.

  • Unused classes expire at the end of the validity period. Extensions are granted only for documented medical reasons (medical certificate required) and are at our sole discretion.

  • Booking and cancellation of individual classes on a pass follow §6.1. Late cancellations and no-shows consume one class from the pass.

6.3 Memberships (auto-renewing)

  • Memberships renew automatically on the same day each month via Stripe until cancelled.

  • You can cancel at any time through your account or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; no partial-month refunds.

  • Memberships are personal and non-transferable.

  • You may pause your membership for a minimum of 2 weeks and a maximum of 3 months per calendar year, with at least 7 days' notice, subject to our approval.

  • Membership does not guarantee a spot in every class — booking is still required and follows §6.1.

  • We reserve the right to change membership pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Existing members keep their current price until the next renewal after the notice period.

6.4 Workshops, events, sound baths and private sessions

  • Cancellation more than 7 days before start: full refund minus any non-recoverable payment processing fees, or full credit toward a future offering.

  • Cancellation 3–7 days before start: 50% refund or 100% credit toward a future offering (valid 6 months).

  • Cancellation less than 3 days before start, or no-show: no refund, no credit.

  • Private sessions rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice can be moved once at no cost. Later reschedules or no-shows are charged in full.

6.5 If we cancel or change a class, workshop or event

  • If we cancel (e.g. teacher illness, insufficient sign-ups, force majeure), you receive a full refund or full credit at your choice.

  • We may substitute the scheduled teacher without notice; this does not entitle you to a refund.

  • We may change the schedule, location or format with reasonable notice. If the change is material and you can no longer attend, contact us within 7 days for a full refund or credit.

7. Teacher trainings and retreats

7.1 Deposit

  • A non-refundable, non-transferable deposit of 500–600 € (amount stated at booking) is required to secure your spot.

  • The deposit is not refundable or transferable for any reason, including illness, pregnancy, emergencies or change of mind. This applies to everyone, including friends and family.

7.2 Balance and payment plans

  • The remaining balance is due by the date stated in your booking confirmation.

  • Payment plans are available on request and must be agreed in writing before the training or retreat begins.

  • Failure to pay by the due date may result in loss of your spot and forfeiture of the deposit and any instalments already paid.

7.3 Cancellation by you

  • Once paid, training and retreat fees (deposit and balance) are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • We do not offer transfers to future editions of the same training or retreat, or to other participants, except at our sole discretion and subject to an administration fee.

7.4 Cancellation or postponement by us

  • If we cancel a training or retreat, you receive a full refund of amounts paid or a credit toward a future edition, at your choice.

  • If we postpone, your booking transfers to the new date at no cost. If you cannot attend the new date, you receive a credit valid for 24 months. Refunds in this case are at our sole discretion.

  • We are not liable for any costs you incur outside our fees (flights, visas, hotels booked separately, insurance, time off work, etc.).

7.5 Attendance, certification and dismissal

  • Certification requires full attendance and completion of required coursework, homework, assessments and practicum hours.

  • If you arrive late, leave early, miss sessions (online or in person) or do not complete homework, you will not receive certification and you will not receive any refund for the missed portion.

  • We reserve the right to remove a participant from the program if they are deemed physically or mentally unfit (as assessed by a qualified professional in our team), or if their behaviour is disruptive to the group in any way. In such cases we do our best to help with care and support. No refunds will be issued for training fees, travel, meals, or accommodation packages booked, and the participant forfeits any content and communication channels related to the training. The same applies when a participant chooses to leave.

  • Before a training begins, you will complete a health form so you can communicate your current physical and mental health.

7.6 Recording

  • Some trainings and online sessions on Zoom will be recorded. This material may be used in future trainings for educational purposes.

7.7 Travel, visas and insurance

  • You are responsible for your own passport, visa, vaccinations, travel arrangements and health requirements.

  • We strongly recommend travel cancellation insurance and an extension of your health insurance covering the destination and activity. Insurance often has to be purchased within 14 days of booking — check with your provider.

8. Online courses and mentorship programs

  • Access is personal, non-transferable and for your individual use only.

  • Access is granted for the duration stated at purchase (e.g. lifetime access, 6 months, 12 months).

  • All sales are final. Digital content is not refundable once access has been granted.

  • You may not download, copy, redistribute, resell or share course materials or login credentials. Violation results in immediate termination of access without refund and may result in legal action.

9. Promotions and discounts

  • Promotions and discounts apply only to the offering announced, from the date of announcement, and are not retroactive.

  • Discount codes cannot be combined unless expressly stated.

  • Discounts do not apply to memberships already in progress.

10. Studio rules and code of conduct

By entering The Feels you agree to:

  • Arrive on time. Late arrivals may be refused entry once class has started, at the teacher's discretion.

  • Remove outdoor shoes at the entrance.

  • Respect the space, the equipment, the teachers and other students.

  • Follow the teacher's guidance and inform them of injuries, pregnancy or medical conditions before class.

  • Refrain from photographing or filming other students without their consent.

  • Use scent-free or lightly scented products in consideration of others.

  • Keep phones on silent and out of the practice space unless required (e.g. on-call parents, medical).

  • Store personal belongings in the designated area. We are not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged belongings.

We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any person whose behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, discriminatory, harassing, intoxicated, or otherwise incompatible with the space, without refund.

11. Health, safety and assumption of risk

  • Movement, yoga, somatic and dance practices involve physical exertion and carry a risk of injury.

  • You participate at your own risk and confirm that you are in adequate physical and mental health to take part.

  • You must inform the teacher before class of any injury, illness, pregnancy, recent surgery, or medical condition that may affect your practice.

  • We are not medical professionals. Nothing offered by The Feels is medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Consult your doctor before starting any new physical practice, especially if you have a health condition or are pregnant.

  • Hands-on adjustments and physical touch may be offered in some classes. You may decline at any time without explanation. Consent cards or verbal check-ins are used where appropriate.

  • To the maximum extent permitted by Swedish law, Movement Medium Scandinavia AB is not liable for personal injury, illness, loss or damage arising from your participation, except where caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

12. Photography, video and marketing

  • We may occasionally photograph or film in the studio for marketing purposes. You will be notified in advance, and you can opt out by informing the photographer or teacher.

  • By attending an event where photography or filming has been announced, you consent to the use of images in which you may appear, unless you have opted out.

  • If you wish to have a specific image removed after publication, contact us and we will do our best to accommodate the request.

13. Intellectual property

  • All content, methods, curricula, class sequences, recordings, manuals, brand names and marks — including Authentic Flow®, Embodied Yin®, Shake the Dust®, Somatic Ecstatic Dance, The Feels and Authentic Flow Tribe — are the intellectual property of Movement Medium Scandinavia AB and its licensors.

  • You may not teach, reproduce, adapt or brand your own offerings using these methods or marks without a valid written licence or completed teacher-training certification and any required ongoing licence.

  • Training materials are for your personal educational use only.

14. Data protection (GDPR)

  • We process your personal data in accordance with GDPR and Swedish data protection law. See our separate Privacy Policy for full details on what data we collect, why, how long we keep it, and your rights.

  • Health information you provide (health forms, injury notes) is processed only to keep you safe in practice and is not shared outside the teaching team.

15. Force majeure

Neither party is liable for failure to perform obligations caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, pandemics, government orders, strikes, or infrastructure failure. In such cases we will follow §6.5 and §7.4 above; no additional refund beyond what is stated there is due.

16. Complaints

If something is not right, please tell us first — most issues can be resolved directly. Contact us in writing at hello@thefeels.center. We aim to respond within 10 business days.

If we cannot resolve a consumer dispute, you may refer it to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, ARN, arn.se) or use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force at the time of your booking applies to that booking. Material changes affecting active memberships or paid-in-advance programs will be notified with reasonable notice.

18. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Swedish law. Disputes are settled by Swedish courts, with Stockholms tingsrätt as the court of first instance, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.

Thank you for reading, understanding and respecting our policies — and for being part of The Feels.
