We take your privacy seriously and process your personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Swedish data protection law.

What data we collect

  • Contact & booking data — name, email, phone, address, purchase history — when you book a class, workshop, training, retreat or online course.

  • Payment data — handled by Stripe. We see the transaction, last 4 digits of the card and country. We do not store full card details.

  • Health data — for teacher trainings and retreats, we ask you to fill in a health form so we can keep you safe in practice. This is sensitive data and is treated with extra care.

  • Communications — emails and messages you send us.

  • Website analytics — anonymised visit data from Squarespace's built-in analytics (pages visited, device, country). No third-party tracking or ad pixels.

  • Recordings — some online training sessions on Zoom are recorded.

Why we process it, and on what legal basis

  • To deliver what you bought (bookings, classes, trainings, retreats, courses) — contract.

  • To keep you safe in practice (health form) — explicit consent (you tick a box when submitting the form).

  • To meet legal obligations (Swedish bookkeeping law requires us to keep invoices and accounting records for 7 years) — legal obligation.

  • To respond to your questions and requestslegitimate interest.

  • To send you marketing emails, if we start offering a newsletter — only if you have opted in (consent). You can unsubscribe at any time.

Who we share it with (data processors)

We share your data only with the tools we need to run the business:

  • Squarespace — website, checkout, forms, order records.

  • Stripe — payment processing.

  • Thinkific — online courses and mentorship program access.

  • Mana — studio class and membership bookings (from 2026).

  • Zoom — online training sessions (and recordings, where announced).

  • Bokio — accounting and bookkeeping.

Each of these has its own privacy terms and is GDPR-compliant. Some of them (e.g. Stripe, Zoom) may transfer data outside the EU/EEA under EU-approved safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses / adequacy decisions).

We do not sell your data and we do not share it with advertisers.

How long we keep it

  • Booking, class attendance and customer account data: as long as you have an active account or membership, and up to 3 years after your last purchase.

  • Invoices and accounting records: 7 years, as required by Swedish law (Bokföringslagen).

  • Health forms: deleted at the end of the training or retreat.

  • Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe.

  • Recordings of online trainings: may be reused in future editions of the same training for educational purposes.

Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the data we hold about you.

  • Have inaccurate data corrected.

  • Have your data deleted, where we don't have a legal obligation to keep it.

  • Restrict or object to how we process it.

  • Receive your data in a portable format.

  • Withdraw consent at any time (this doesn't affect processing already done).

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@thefeels.center. We respond within 30 days.

If you think we mishandle your data, you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMYimy.se).
